As a designer, I love to be inspired as well as inspire others. My designs are a fusion of Scandinavian and Asian styles. A design can be expressive on its own but also provide multiple expressions given the right components. 

My passion is to create designs and spaces in which our human senses come into play. My designs and spaces are invitations for interaction which leaves a yearning impression on people to keep them coming back. The impact that is created through my designs and spaces provide a holistic experience in which the adventurous, modern, and opulent person will experience all five senses. 

As a person, I am fascinated by the aesthetic and psychological aspects and I love working with the diversity of materials and people who share the same ideology.  

As a designer, it is essential to be innovative, curious, honest,and respectful. These keywords are crucial factors in creating my projects as well as an ideology that I implement in every aspect of my work. 

My mission is to give people indispensable experiences in which the design and environment affect one’s senses. I aim to create aesthetic experiences in which the focus is not only on function and form but on bringing out our dynamic and lively senses. 

Uyen P. T. Tran was born and raised in the Danish town, Hjoerring, in Northern Jutland.

Through Uyen’s Danish upbringing, she has gained a great understanding of Danish culture.

And due to her Vietnamese background, she has fusioned the two cultures. Hence, Uyen P.T. Tran, has on her own accord, been able to choose the best aspects from Scandinavian and Asian culture to incorporate into her own projects. 

The creativity has followed her throughout her life and continued to grow. Due to her curious, diligent, and ambitious mindset, Uyen P. T. Tran studies Design & Business specialising in Furniture Design as her Bachelor’s degree at VIA.

Through her creativity, she has worked towards her goal of becoming a furniture- and interior designer, resulting in P. Uyen Tran Studio in 2021.
